GO!

Every year, students in the marketing department participate in a marketing game to exercise their knowledge learned in the classroom. During this semester-long project, business coaches provide critique and feedback to guide each team in the right direction. My team and I chose to develop an adventure-based app that allows users to track their outdoor experiences in the San Diego area while competing with other members of the community. Our mission is to enable users to value the planet — one hike, one climb, one wave, one adventure at a time.

Strategic Solution

Working on a team with Zab Dominguez, Katie Jackson, Cara Liggins, and Hunter Loomis, we researched and designed GO! as an innovative approach to fitness. After conducting secondary and primary research, we discovered that individuals spend less time outside and more time gaming. As a result, we bridged the two worlds together to create an enjoyable outdoor fitness and gaming app. Along with aiding in the research and marketing development, I designed mobile interfaces and advertisements that communicate a sense of adventure and freedom in the outdoors.
